Second generation designer born on the island of paradise, now based in Vancouver.
My journey into the world of design began early. Growing up in Indonesia, my mother, an interior designer, sparked my interest in design. Her focus on neatness and detail instilled in me a deep appreciation for artistry and functionality. I spent my childhood observing her transform blank spaces into unique places, and this fueled my passion for creating art that resonates with human experiences.
When I first started university, I chose Computer Science, and even though I excelled academically, I felt constrained by the lack of creative freedom. I soon realized that my true passion lay elsewhere. Hence, in my second year, I made a pivotal decision to switch my major to Visual Arts. This transition was a turning point, igniting my enthusiasm for UX design. It allowed me to blend my technical skills with my love for storytelling and human-centered design, and now I focus on crafting meaningful and engaging experiences that connect with people on a deeper level, drawing from my diverse background.
